Dec 1 - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening 39 points higher at
6,305 on Tuesday, according to financial bookmakers.

* RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto Ltd RIO.AX said it would not offer any comment in
response to a threat of legal action from the largest minority shareholder in
its Mongolian copper project Oyu Tolgoi. * ROYAL DUTCH SHELL: Royal Dutch Shell RDSa.L to face a Dutch court in the
first hearing of a case brought on by environmentalist and human rights groups
who demand the energy firm cut its reliance on fossil fuels. * DE BEERS: Diamond mining giant De Beers, a unit of Anglo American AAL.L ,
on Monday outlined plans to ethically source its diamonds and be carbon neutral
by 2030 due to growing investor pressure on companies to be environmentally and
socially responsible. * ARCADIA: British tycoon Philip Green's Arcadia fashion group has collapsed
into administration, putting over 13,000 jobs at risk and becoming the country's
biggest corporate casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic so far. * GOLD: Gold prices recovered from five-month lows as worries over spiking
COVID-19 cases offset optimism around vaccine developments and nudged investors
towards the precious metal. * OIL: Oil prices slipped amid concerns over mounting supply after leading
producers delayed talks on 2021 output policy that could extend production cuts
as the coronavirus pandemic continues to sap fuel demand. * The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed 1.6% lower on Monday, but recorded
its biggest monthly gain in over three decades as investors bet on a working
